TOUR 1) We visit the most famous castle in Wales, Caernarfon, the 'Jewel In The Crown' of the Iron Ring of 13th century fortresses built by the English king Edward 1. Onto Llanberis at the foot of the highest mountain in Wales and England, Mount Snowdon (1085M), and visit the atmospheric slateworks of Gilfach Du, located on the shore of Lake (Llyn) Padarn. Find out how North Welsh slate "roofed the World" through the 19th and 20th centuries. We drive back to your accommodation via the walled town of Conwy, with its ancient walls and bustling streets, and Llandudno, the "Queen of Welsh Resorts", where Lewis Carroll found the inspiration to create Alice In Wonderland.
TOUR 2) * The Welsh Highland Railway will take you through the Snowdonia mountain range to the most beautiful village in Wales, Beddgelert, nestling between the peaks, with its legend of the faithful hunting hound of Prince Llewelyn The Great. Drive through the Glaslyn Valley to the towering Harlech Castle and the fantasy Italianate village of Portmeirion, a unique experience in the location for the cult 60s television series The Prisoner. Back to your accommodation.

TOUR 3) Across the Menai Straits onto The Isle of Anglesey, visiting the village that boasts the longest railway station name in the World, known as Llanfair PG (The full version has 58 letters!). Tour the sumptious and historic Plas Newydd, home to the Marquess of Anglesey. Visit Beaumaris, ancient Viking capital of the Island, and Penmon Priory with the most spectacular views of Puffin Island and the Snowdonia Coast. Back in time for dinner.

The cost of each one day itinerary is 350.00 GBP, inclusive of entrance charges to sites and attractions. Our pricing is based on a MINIMUM OF TWO ADULTS TRAVELLING TOGETHER. PLEASE NOTE that the above pricing is for tours taken from local accommodation. If you wish to arrange a shore excursion from Holyhead Cruise Terminal, please contact us for a competitive quotation for TWO to SIX passengers travelling together. We meet your party from thr cruise shuttle bus which stops outside the ferry terminal, and drop you off in good time to rejoin your ship at the same point.

It never rains in North Wales, well not often anyway. However, we are in a mountainous and coastal region, so for the day, you should bring a waterproof jacket (with a hood) and suitable walking shoes. If for any reason it is necessary for us to cancel a tour, we will refund any amount paid in advance. To reserve your tour, we will require full payment for short notice bookings (less than one month) in advance, with a 10% deposit applicable (non refundable) for bookings beyond one months notice, and the balance due 14 days prior to your tour date. We accept major credit cards (regret not Amex) or international bank transfers for bookings beyond one months notice. We carry full insurance, but recommend that all our visitors take out comprehensive travel insurance prior to their vacation.
